WELCOME TO GOLDEN DRAGON
Golden Dragon is a celebration of heritage and transformation, bridging generations through antique, vintage, and modern Orientalia. Founded in honor of my mother, Bernice Ai, the site commemorates the legacy of our family business, which began in 1970 as Golden Dragon Gift Shop in Glenview, Illinois. The name itself was inspired by the triumphant spirit of the 1969 Taiwan Little League World Champions—The Golden Dragons. Over the years, the shop evolved into Golden Dragon Oriental Imports, reflecting a broader commitment to sharing the beauty of Eastern art and culture.
Launched in 2024—fittingly, the Year of the Dragon—this site marks a milestone: my mother’s 90th birthday and a renewed tribute to her vision and resilience. Through carefully curated collections and stories, Golden Dragon invites visitors to explore the elegance of the past while embracing the spirit of cultural preservation.
